Monthly Volunteers MeetingWe have recently begun monthly volunteers' meetings, where volunteers can become more involved on a regular basis with ERC activities, as well as socialise together. For the time and place of the next meeting, please contact Anna. (See "Contact" page.) Are You Interested In Being A Volunteer?![]() There are three ways you can be involved in ERC as a volunteer.
Karen Duffy Award 2008
The Karen Duffy Award for outstanding Karen Duffy
One of our long-serving volunteers and camp coordinators, Karen Duffy, passed away on Monday 25 October 2004. Karen was a wonderful person loved by all who knew her, and we in the ERC community miss her deeply. Her gentleness, kindness and good humour endeared her to many, many kids and volunteers on numerous camps over recent years. Click here to go to our memorial page to Karen. Tell Your StoryAs a volunteer you will experience many things you might like to share with others. Once you get involved in Eddie Rice Camps, we would love to hear your stories. To help you put pen to paper, we have a 'story guide' checklist. Just click on the link below and download the file. Then simply type in an answer to each question. Read some of our volunteer's stories: Commitment of VolunteersEdmund Rice Camp volunteers need to be prepared to commit themselves to the values of the organisation. Since ERC is a Christian agency it involves certain standards of behaviour for those on camp. Below is a copy of the standards expected. |
